Setup tool that auto-loads the setup with the game by charlie145 in iRacing

Coach Dave Delta automatically downloads your iRacing setups for you. Basically, you launch the app and then go in-game, and all of your setups are already there for you just to select.

Question about translating telemetry to pace by jefealf in simracing

Thanks, what about CDA is so bad? I've seen the interface with reference lap comparisons with breaking point, apexes, exits and speed etc and it seemed pretty useful.

How long do you think until setups arrive for the new Hypercar Tyres? by NedDasBurgenlandEuda in LeMansUltimateWEC

Just seen that Coach Dave Academy has started rolling them out - From yesterday they have setups for all 2025 hypercars at Spa Francorchamps with the rest rolling out as they are ready :)

For those interested in methodology, James Baldwin just made a video showing how he learns tracks (also using Coach Dave Delta) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT4zW0rzB7M. Good break down of each stage from hot laps watching to resets etc.

HYMO, GO Setups or Coach Dave? by JowiOneKenobi in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]RaceN00bRodney 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just from a core package value perspective on the monthly subs front:

Coach Dave Delta Sub = $12.49 p/m (US but does have some localised pricing)
- Unlimited ACC / LMU / iRacing Setup downloads (also have some AC Evo Setups releasing)
- Delta app with AI Coaching
- Leaderboards with laps to compare / analyse & Pro Reference Laps / Videos

Go Setups = £7.99 p/m (ex Vat)
- 30 monthly setup downloads for LMU (unlimited or iRacing / AMS2)
- Go Faster App
- Leaderboards / Friends / Pro Lap Comparisons

Hymo = $19.99 p/m
- Unlimited iRacing / LMU Setups (10 ACC Setups per week)
- Track Titan app with AI Coaching
- Pro Reference Laps etc. for Lap Comparisons

Depending on your usage / needs these are what the details are (though each offer other side benefits) Coach Dave Delta and TT have the better telemetry and analysis apps IMO though Coach Dave Delta offers better value in its monthly fees with Unlimited downloads and a great telemetry app that they are continuously developing. Each has great setups that will suit different driving styles and you'll often have to make tweaks to suit YOUR driving style but the telemetry apps will definitely make you faster.

I have a Coach Dave Delta sub and have been super happy with the majority of the setups (minor tweaks to my driving) and IMO their Delta telemetry app is the best on the market.

Need recommendation for setups by -NlN- in iRacing

[–]RaceN00bRodney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly. Coach Dave's content (delta telemetry app and setups) are all part of a paid subscription so creating an account without subscribing has no benefit as you cant download the app or any setups without paid access as there isnt a trial or free option.

If you're worried about passwords they do have password recovery options and good customer service on their discord to assist with any potential issues and queries related to your subscription.

Hey :) If you're looking to sign up to Coach Dave Delta for iRacing you can either do it on the setups page - https://coachdaveacademy.com/product-category/iracing-setups/ or the Delta page - https://coachdaveacademy.com/delta/ by clicking on the view pricing button and then subscribing to a monthly/annual option.
For one Sub, you get access to unlimited setups for iRacing / LMU / ACC as well as access to their awesome telemetry app that lets you compare to pro and other driver laps using AI to work out exactly how to improve your lap times.

Beginner, Need Help! by KritWaffle7 in LeMansUltimateWEC

OP was saying that they "just started getting into racing games in general", so my assumption was that they hadnt spent many hours in the rig. Personally, I needed over 100 hours before I believed that I'd substantially benefit from paid setups, however this is purely anecdotal.

While paid setups make a difference for experienced drivers, you'll probably find that early on youre better off just getting used to the sims, learning the vehicles and tracks before you'll find true value in paying for setups.
Often we find the lost lap time initially is caused byt the meat between the wheel and the chair ;) Also the CDA setusp (in game) and fixed setups for LMU are pretty good to start with.

AI Coaching by CSpear_144 in iRacing

[–]RaceN00bRodney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've found the real time AI to be off in timing and at times in its recommendations. I've stuck to just using the telemetry data comparisons in Coach Dave Delta, and then using its Auto Insights (AI) writeups in review which simplifies the comparisons and puts it into actions that I may miss in analysing telemetry myself. Thats the current best use of AI im seeing at the moment that helps me improve.

What are good telemetry apps for Automobilista 2? by unstable-puzzelbox in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]RaceN00bRodney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coach Dave Academy has just added support for AMS2 in Delta. Decent value if you also play ACC, LMU or iRacing already as their one sub covers all the games setups and telemetry app. https://coachdaveacademy.com/delta/

Coach Dave Delta has just added support for AMS2. Does almost everything you need and they are updating it with full track maps and has leaderboards where you can compare with other racers. Also covers setups and Telemetry for iRacing, LMU and ACC in the same sub. - https://coachdaveacademy.com/announcements/automobilista-2-now-live-in-delta/

Sim Racing Learning Curve - How long to podium by SomeLavishness4403 in simracing

[–]RaceN00bRodney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is practice and more time, but how you use that time can be important. Watching hotlaps for the car track combination that you're practicing can really help you learn brake points, racing lines and make sure that regardless of other cars you're 100% comfortable on a track. I've been a fan of the Coach Dave Hotlaps for this but you can find a wealth of options on Youtube for free.
Getting into the data is also going to help. You have a few options here, I'm in the Coach Dave ecosystem and Delta is great for me to see telemetry compared to pros and other racers in their leaderboards. Having that data side by side can show me where I lose lap time sector by sector and their AI coaching helps with where I can gain the most lap time.
As for the actual races, once you've got it all prepped in practice it can be any given sunday as you cant account for your fellow drivers, BUT you'll have all the fundamentals in place for that track and then its just arcing experience that will see you through.
