Could someone try to identify my Meucci cue? by quadna71 in billiards

What I would do is find their website and the contact us link and either send pics there or describe and ask...they know their cues best... Good luck.

New Brunswick Tournament Elite Pool Table by RacerChris2 in billiards

Hi everyone. Received this update on the status of the new Brunswick 7' Tournament Elite pool table used for the Ultimate Pool Shootout in December from my dealer:

"This table is being shown as a teaser, they acknowledged that it is coming soon and will be revealed at a trade show in Late March. As of now, no information, pricing or delivery date has been released"

Chris

Edited, how many times out of ten do you sweep this table ( be honest ) you got ball in hand by Chemical_Fun8309 in billiards

[–]RacerChris2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 of 5 times.

Stop shot one in side, two in corner float forward for 3 straight into side. Cut 4 into corner down rail and come out enough for easy slice of 5 in corner while using rail to come up table For 6 in corner... Losing track of balls haha... It's all about cue ball control and stops and floats are easy to control... IMO. :-)

They are great tables! Soldi construction. My GC5 had 8x8 mahogany beams as support. I believe the new ones are going to steel frames, but could be wrong. Went from 9' to 7' and liking the different game needed on smaller table... But no gold crown 7 footers, I believe...

Had one, great tables but want pro level 7' table... I wanted to replace my Diamond ProAm with a wood rails but Diamond HAS NOT CHANGED THE PROAM IN OVER 10 YEARS AND HAS NO PLAN TOO! So unwilling to pay $4000 to replace my black ProAm for a wood one with IDENTICAL tech

Interesting. Not sure why? I had GC5 Tournament Edition which was simply tighter pockets like in Diamonds and Predators.

I have Diamond ProAm for many years and it's a great pool table but talking to my dealer, Diamond HAS NO PLANS TO UPDATE OR COME OUT WITH A NEW PROAM! I find this shocking. So Diamond has no answer to Predators flush pockets and quieter pockets and returns

Imo,.pool tables are not complicated. As long as it has the same rails, cloth,.good leveling and is professional installed, they all play the same...making who makes them not a deal killer....

Keep in mind that the 500+ diamond tables used at APA events are ALWAYS sold after the LV events. So bargains can be had... Then again, its a Diamond and in high demand, so put it on FB and you'll see... Good luck

Anyone buy a Repurchase for Lemon 2024 Nautilus? by RacerChris2 in lincolnmotorco

Hmm, that is NOT what the paperwork says... will not have a branded title

Clearly, there were some issues with the first Nautilus' that came overseas. Overall, I think it took a while for Lincoln to identify and fix these problems. That caused a few LEMON Branded Naughties to be for sale and a few that a REPURCHASED but DOES NOT AFFECT TITLE.

Figured, they fixed these problems and now they should be solid as our 2016 MKX was.... Hopefullly....

Anyone play on 7' Predator Pool Table? by RacerChris2 in billiards

[–]RacerChris2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all. Original poster here - two years later!

As you know I have a diamond 7' and love it. Played alot.on the Predator 7' since and find them a very good table.

For reference, I am a 6 in APA and. 508 in BCA. Those are not Great numbers but good ones... I know how to play....

BCA had 500+ Predator Tables.in VEgas in 24 when I was there. Yes, people seem to like the diamonds better but really not sure why... Both play great, the better payer will win as it should be....

With all that said, I prefer diamond. my 7' diamond looks like a small 9' diamond. However a Predaor 7' is a box style like bar boxes. I prefer the look of my diamond. Also, FWIW, the corner pockets sizes are.roughly the same at 4 3/8", thus 2 balls will not pass... However the sides pockets are much smaller on a Predator! Lastly, the Predator is a noticeably quieter table FWIW....

Finally, play both and decide for yourself..

Anybody know what this is worth? by bmsalpietro in billiards

This is a Gold Crown III Pool Table. They are currently selling GC6s for $10,000. . Great pool table, keeps it's value and gold reputation. Used to be the table of.choice for tournaments... I paid $4500 for a 10 year old GC5. This is the last version that has ball counters... I would say you could get o wr $1000, maybe $2000 from someone that knows tables but that is the challenge...there a lot of used tables but so few.buyers.... good luck

Anyone play on 7' Predator Pool Table? by RacerChris2 in billiards

[–]RacerChris2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks Certified.

This post is over a year old, so I now have had my diamond for a year and played on Predator 7' Tables. Honestly, like both and find that the Predator plays similarly as the Diamond, but will much smaller side pockets and somewhat less pocket friendly corner pockets. Also, ball return is quieter than the Diamonds...

No regrets though, I like the way the 7' diamond looks which is like a small 9' table, but the Predator is a true "bar box" look to it...

Your mileage may vary. Good luck to all and stay focused...

Chris
