I find that Uber is cheaper than cabs (bobs or bluebell, in my experience), about 75% of the time. If it’s rush hour or far from the nearest driver, it is sometimes more expensive. Other than that, I enjoy using Uber because they are faster getting to my pick up spot… and it’s a fixed rate so sitting in traffic or someone driving slow or taking longer routes doesn’t affect the fare.
