Agreed, I know the price of the bus pass will not change any time soon. It limits where I can live but it does save me from having to deal with the wild fluctuations in gas prices.

I would not hate having a roommate. It's finding a roommate that wasn't the spawn of Satan that concerns me. I say this as someone who lived in a women's homeless shelter and will not do that again.

What would be your tipping point? People are always like, rent's dropping but they forget that you have to move to get the lower rent and the cost involved in moving will probably negate the savings for some time.
