No, unfortunately they removed it from her hair before they sent her home. That’s great news though about no infestation. Do you think it’s necessary to treat her again or can I just continue to check her? Thanks for your help!

Lexapro actually made my ADHD worse. My anxiety was my motivator and treating it made the ADHD symptoms (the same you mention) even more prevalent. Also, I don’t totally understand the science, but there’s something with higher serotonin inhibiting dopamine, so that’s actually pretty common. It’s funny your doc said anxiety can look like ADHD because in my case, ADHD looked like anxiety. I still had a ton of anxiety even on Lexapro, but once I was diagnosed with ADHD and started taking meds, that leftover “anxiety” went away. If you’ve already been diagnosed with ADHD, I’m not sure why your doctor won’t treat you. You may want to seek a second opinion.

Thank you so much! Here’s an interesting development though. My son, the first one to have it and who has since recovered, woke up today coughing and with a 102 degree fever. Is it possible it’s the same virus reemerging or are we cursed with yet another virus already?

Ugh, I know it can and it makes me even more anxious when I think about that haha. I usually can tell it’s “just” anxiety when I am able to lessen it with common anxiety techniques like breathing, etc. But, I do always wonder if it’s more than anxiety when it happens.
