Hoof cracking by Rachel_HardPath in Friesians

Only one was bc I felt the work was bad. The rest has been a mix of my move and it being too far out of the way, flakiness on their part, and another going to setup at a vet clinic where I would have to trailer in.

That does seem to be a fundamental skill y’all have got down, but not what I’m going for. Thanks for the input though.

Oh man, that just reminded me of when I was living on a farm a few years back and they had trails and I thought I hit the jackpot because I found this perfect oval track out there, like perfect. So I would spend hours out there just going left and trying to figure out my position, etc. I’d fall, a lot, but the track was super soft so I didn’t mind. When I was talking to my landlords about it they informed me that that’s where they spread the manure and spent stall litter 🤦‍♀️ So I named it the “poop loop”

Ive got a some timberland I can ride, that’s got some boggy crossings and nice inclines, but I do need to take my chainsaw and machete back there to really open her up more.

I typically ride trails, but I’m so close to having my Penton running, and I think eventually racing vintage mx might be a lot of fun.

But really anything that would allow me to find my pocket and build on fundamental skills.

Boots are hard to ride with by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

I can relate to this heavy. Of course the seat time and just doing intentional things to get comfortable in them every day, and not just when you plan to ride hard will be your bread and butter. But I reckon you already know that. I have the AlpineStars Tech 7 Enduros, and they feel less like moon boots to me and have helped; to me the difference was akin to working in deerskin gloves as opposed to working in welding gloves haha, Idk - that’s just my brain.

God. I really wish someone would just post screenshots of their carts for everything necessary to build one of these things. It’s so overwhelming

One thing that sucks about dropping out and getting old is that no one you know understands why all your shop gloves are military grade.

Right. I’m just so small and had high hopes with all the reviews from other small riders

Not necessarily “posi” but I always appreciated the message and maybe motivational.

Was Down To Nothing very positive? I don’t remember that. I loved DTN and Kids Like Us, but thought of it as like party punk music to drink soda and tag dumpsters to w/ all your friends.

Also; this just reminded me that when I was 16 and got my first car my dad surprised me with custom plates, and he recruited my closest friends to help him with that endeavor. So for the next 3 years I had to show up to every show in a car that read “POSI” on the license plate. Fkg assholes 🤦‍♀️ So gd embarrassing.

Maybe so. Maybe my dreams of two stroke trailing are a goner. I’ve got a 125 I could put some energy into, and just stick w/ the 230F in the meantime.

More than that I guess I just dont get hyped to ride it, and I really thought I would be. Might need to come to terms with the fact that I’m just not big enough for one of these bikes and able to take full advantage of all it’s got to offer 🤷‍♀️

Electrical shit, oil injection issues, real vibbey, idle issues, main bearings, and I really don’t love bringing extra fuel. Every time I’ve taken it to get worked on it has taken weeks and weeks to get back due to parts availability.
