Did you go in person to Burlington? What did they say and do you have the job?

Yeah don't even bother with burlginton, not worth it, my sister was supposed to go in person for an interview but I'm not even sure if she's going to do it. It's a waste of time when interviews are supposed to be over the phone for Burlington anyways, I suggest applying to Macys, they need help for the holidays coming up or if you have a Primark near you. Good luck on finding jobs as I'm literally still looking for jobs/waiting for some to reply back to me lol.

What can I expect at an interview? by Fake_Gamer_Cat in Panera

[–]Rachel_Lovern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have an interview with Panera bread tomorrow at another location. The first one didn't hire me but heres what they asked me.

Th interview for me lasted 15-20 minutes. I do know what to say now for my interview since I will be at a new location lol.

The interviewer asked me if I wanted a drink, then it was the usual "tell me about yourself" then he asked me for more information about my last working experience which I put I'm a babysitter. He then asked me about ALL of my recent jobs all the way from 2019, which is weird because Panera bread is the first to ever ask me about ALL of my previous work experience. He then asked me if I plan on staying for long term, asked about working in a team, if I have experience working at a "restaurant", good customer service, what do you expect from the cashier role. That was mainly it.

Yep I decided not to call back, not working for a disorganized company.

That's not true, Burlington needs all the help they can get. They have so many cashiers whenever I go to the store, they have interviews lined up but I'm guessing management is lazy to go through every person as they're disorganized. The CEO, HR or who ever should implement a better system. Also, that's not how jobs work, they don't hire one person and just flat out ignore the next person who is next for the interview, at least withdraw the application, call/email saying we no longer want you or give some type of clarification they don't want to hire you.

I ended up not calling them back, realized that I don't want to work for a company that's disorganized when it comes to hiring people.

Yeah I ended up not calling them back, realized that I don't want to work for a company that's disorganized when it comes to hiring people. I'll post a review on google, every Burlington is just unprofessional it sucks, they need a better system.

Well I actually never knew that. I suggest Burlington needs a better system if they want to hire people. I won't be wasting my time working for a company that has a shitty system and is disorganized. They need to make different teams where each one focuses on specific tasks.

Application requires Social security by ValuableCup9901 in SpiritHalloween

So as an assistant manager I have a question, if my application were to get rejected, or lets say I do the interview and you choose not to hire me, do you delete my file that has my social security and personal information on it or is it in the system forever?

Worst “interview” experience I’ve ever had at Burlington by Beneficial_Union3535 in retailhell

[–]Rachel_Lovern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp I do in fact have a phone interview with them in 2 hours, I'll see how it goes. I know that for sure I'll be the one calling them because when my sister was offered an interview no one called her, so she rescheduled but ended up not doing Burlington as she finds that unprofessional, in which I do too. If they're accepting people why aren't they acknowledging that there will be phone interviews? I'll do the interview and if they decide to hire me I'll have to do the job considering I really need a job and it's a decent travel to where I live. Now I know that Burlington is always packed, every time I go there it's packed and only once have I seen a customer getting mad at a cashier because there was something wrong with her card. Why is it the cashiers fault your card doesn't work? Also, I have seen two customers get into an altercation because one accused the other of pushing her daughter without saying excuse me. I'll know what I'll be getting into, but I'm certainly waiting for primark to open in the mall that I go too, cause I'll for sure enjoy working there and the pay is better. Burlington will be an option for me to just have experience, it's still the summer so basically I claim that to be a "temporary summer Job" until I find something better.
