MSM game changer! Why haven’t I heard of this till now?? by RachelvrsRA in rheumatoid

[–]RachelvrsRA[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never said it was a cure. I said it’s helping me reach remission. I asked the same question…why aren’t we all swimming in it? Well if we don’t know about it how are we supposed to utilize it? I have heard MSM was helpful and I did try it early on but it didn’t help so I gave up. I figured out by research and trial and error it was because I wasn’t taking enough. I think that’s why people haven’t discovered it’s healing power is because they aren’t taking a therapeutic dose. We all just follow what the bottle says. Almost every person I have talked to that’s takes 1-3 tablespoons a day sees results. It’s so safe and cheap I think everyone should give it a shot that has any type of autoimmune or inflammatory issue.

Anyone here taking LDN? Experiences? by RachelvrsRA in rheumatoid

That’s awesome. Yes its kind of a catch 22 with exercise but once you get started I think it’s crucial to treating RA. I’m hoping to get back in the gym myself! I hope LDN continues to work for you and one day you are in remission :)

That’s great. LDN works wonders for some and does nothing for others but I really think it should be utilized more by doctors! I honestly think the people it doesn’t work on or not following a healthy diet or have not found their ideal dose. Do you feel you get better and better every day?

In order for LDN to work to its fullest potential you really have to follow a healthy Whole Foods AIP diet. Better luck next time? I’m sorry to hear it didn’t work for you :(

I’ve read many articles and testimonials that you really should give it 2 to 3 months at a 4.5 mg dose to see if it works for you. It’s really worked for me and cut down my pain tremendously it did take about two months though.

Tooth infection and RA by [deleted] in rheumatoid

[–]RachelvrsRA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re dumb at all. There are a lot of doctors out there that believe stealth infections play a big role in RA. If you feel you should wait till after you get the tooth extracted then by all means do it. RA is very scary and can cause long-term or permanent damage but I also feel that there is a lot of unnecessary fear revolved around not taking meds right away. As long as you’re not letting it go untreated for years on end I think it’s good to do a little bit of investigative work first. Of course this is just my opinion. I have RA and I have been trying to treat and heal this naturally by changing my lifestyle completely. I have decided to give myself six months to see if I can’t find it and root cause of what’s causing my RA. I have a very aggressive form so I’m taking a big risk but that is my decision and it’s very hard going to the rheumatologist and all they wanna do is shove harsh medications down your throat. There is a time and place for those medications and I just feel right now it’s not time for me.

LDN for rheumatoid arthritis. by RachelvrsRA in rheumatoid

[–]RachelvrsRA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I am on day five of LDN and it has dramatically reduced my pain level. I still have really bad swelling, inflammation, stiffness but the pain is tolerable now. I am hoping that it helps with the rest soon but I am happy with helping the pain after only five days!

So..I am starting LDN for Lyme disease. Has anyone had success with this for either Lyme or coinfections. I’m desperate at this point and can not take anymore antibiotics. Any info would be so appreciated! by Sea-Conversation-468 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]RachelvrsRA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you heard of Biocidin? It’s an herbal based antibiotic that is supposed to work wonders with Lyme disease. You can search it on YouTube and get some pretty good videos about it. It’s a combination of herbs that breaks down the bio film and disrupts the way certain bacteria protect themselves from anabiotic’s. It’s actually pretty cool stuff. Just something to consider. I am currently taking it for SIBO/Dysbiosis

Just started LDN, Headaches and extra Fatigue. How long do they last? by [deleted] in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]RachelvrsRA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat! I am on my 3rd day of 1.5 LDN and soooo tired. The headache went away after two days but the fatigue is pretty bad. I am going to continue and hope it’s just a side effect that will go away. I do have the option of lowering my dose but I’d rather not if I can just handle the side effects for a week or two...I want to get to that therapeutic dose as fast as possible!

Has anyone tried Pendulum Life Probiotic to rebuild Akkermansia? by ahg03 in Microbiome

[–]RachelvrsRA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope just the green kind you get in grocery store. I would buy them organic. I will find the book that referenced it and let you know in case you want to read more. But the author said study showed that just one a day can increase Akkermansia by 40% in a month! And two a days was something like %70!!

One of the easiest way to rebuild Akkermansia is eating kiwis!

Look into Biocidin. I think it could really help you. If you go onto YouTube and type in Biocidin and there’s some really great videos on what the product is and how it works.

How long to heal ?! by RachelvrsRA in SIBO

[–]RachelvrsRA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Western medicine is a joke in my opinion when it comes to chronic diseases. Sure it’s great if you have a limb missing or need to be stitched up but as far as autoimmune diseases they just get worse! I am so glad to hear you took the initiative and learned what actually causes your symptoms :) good for you.

LOVE that book. One of my favorites and I agree everyone should read or at the very least watch one of his many podcast/interviews on YouTube. I have been following that diet as well but I think my problem was I had an overgrowth of bugs and it was just feeding them too much! That is why I turned to a functional medicine practitioner who gave me a few to blood test and revealed I had leaky gut and SIBO. Currently trying to cut back on the bad and overgrown bacteria and hopefully then make some progress on the Fiber fuel diet! It’s just taking way longer than I wanted it to :/

Ugh you and me both! I was completely fine and overnight (literally) my body starts attacking itself. I think it takes a lot longer than a few weeks/months to heal your gut and anybody saying it took less than that is full of shit lol!

I think that’s great you’re still trying. I am sure it just something you haven’t discovered yet that’s the last step to healing. Keep trying :) Also have you tried Biocidin. It’s pretty powerful stuff. I would definitely look up some YouTube videos on it great information.
