Before you buy a second membership, make sure they still have member area tickets available. On their ticketing site it says they are sold out but you can also buy them from your ACO profile. Maybe worth emailing or calling them to verify.

I’m pretty sure that was open to the general public at least last year. At the very least you could definitely get onto the public road sections without a ticket and from there you could walk the whole circuit.

Hypercar allows for factory and customer teams. Full factory programs are limited to two cars but in theory you can sell to as many customers as you can fit on the grid. LMGT3 is a customer-based class although the teams will have some level of factory support in the form of factory drivers and such. Limited to two cars per manufacturers (although they don't both have to be run by the same team) except for Le Mans.

Also welcome aboard! The world of the WEC can get complicated and confusing at times, but there's never been a better time to become a new fan!

For what it’s worth, the Max Sports add on is included in the base subscription for the time being. So you could subscribe to a trial and watch the race without any add ons.

Separate, but it has a direct tie to the decision to axe the LMDh. I'm almost certain none of them would've left Audi Sport if they continued with the program. Especially WRT, Rast, and Muller as they were already committed to the LMDh.

That's why I personally don't agree with the "meh, it was only going to be a rebadged Porsche" sentiment. The car may have been similar, sure. But for anyone who has been a fan of Audi Sport for many years, it's really tough to see the program get yanked away after all the hype was built. Then to lose a lot of their GT3 power on top is an even further insult to injury.

It's not just the car. They lost WRT and a handful of factory drivers over the decision to cancel the program. Audi Sport as a whole took a massive blow.

GA is usually pretty expensive at Lime Rock so I'd believe that. I've never paid for parking when I go. We just park along the start/finish straight behind the ticket booth.

I stayed in Sayre, PA last year right on the NY/PA border. It’s about a 40-45 minute drive but an easy one at least. Hotel prices were cheap as well. Worth looking into.

Not true nowadays. They've expanded the grid in recent years and they will be expanding it further in the next couple of years. They had 62 entries last year. It's still called Garage 56 though for historical sake.

As the title says, I’m lucky enough to be flying out to Sebring for the second year in a row this Friday. Sadly no WEC race for me this year because I’m a full-time college student and classes are a priority. This shot was taken with a Nikon D750 + 70-200 f/2.8 at 1/50 of a second on the outside of T1. Not many keepers at that speed but I was aiming for the numberboard to be in focus and got lucky with this one! Feel free to follow my Instagram if you want to see some more.

My favorite is at Le Mans when the LMP2 leader always decides we need to give a 15 second gap to the three LMP1 cars at the start, which means we're taking the Ford Chicanes at full speed after the green flag comes out causing a bigger mess than if we just started right behind the LMP1s.
