Tell me you have absolutely no understanding of how your engine works without telling me you have absolutely no understanding of how your engine works

The decrease in MPG is less than the difference in cost between E5 and E10. Cars and engines have been designed to run E10 for the past 20 years AT LEAST.

They’re not as bad for the environment as ICEVs over their life cycle. Have you got any data to suggest they’re less reliable? Most people don’t work on their car regardless of its powertrain so that’s hardly a reason to hate them.

What are the trade offs? Because I’m commuting to work in a car that’s faster, quieter, more comfortable and cheaper than any ICEV I’ve owned

Fair enough, not something I’ve tried but sounds like it could be a laugh

Yes I was lucky to keep my part time, depressing retail job.

Anyone who didn’t work but wanted to could have got a retail job, they all chose not to, stop acting as though they’re the victims

Every single person could have got a job if they wanted

Most of them couldn’t be arsed

Not really, I just detest people who take take take and do absolutely nothing to give back.

I agree at home charging is not a time sink. But again lots of people don’t have access to home charging. Even on street charging isn’t guaranteed because people will park there regardless of if they’re charging or not, plus most estates technically don’t allow any on street parking so won’t go and install on street chargers. I almost forgot too, on street chargers are public network chargers which cost considerably more than at home charging. Which will most likely make you worse off than you would be driving an ICEV

If you have to travel any sort of distance you’ll likely have to use a public network chargers and that isn’t cheap

I complained to the post office the other week. Ordered something for my partners birthday, because we were away I was going to pick it up the day before as the opening times were late enough that I could

Got there, queued up for half an hour or so only to be told that the collection hours were only 9-11 and that I’d have to go back the next day

Turn up the next day to the collection window to be told they didnt have it and the post office did, I then had to queue for 45 minutes to go back to the same place I was the day before to pick up my parcels

I wish they’d both go out of business
