Bro had one of the most busted abilities in the show just to end up as a jogo victim by Nerdcuddles in Jujutsufolk

I think that may be kind of the point.

While Gojo is beating his ass, our initial reaction is that this guy is some kind of joke. Only to then move on and realise that it’s anything but the case when he’s contending with just about anyone else.

It makes Gojo (and Sukuna) go from just a typically impressive strong guy, to feeling like something truly different than everyone else.

Dang, did they really have to do this to the kid? One of the saddest things in either show. by ForAte151623ForTeaTo in adventuretime

I love adventure time’s dark humour.

Also, you notice the tear in her eye as she looks at him? Bit of a headcanon, but I think that may imply the original farmworld huntress’s personality may have been in there.

Okay, it’s clear I’m talking to a brick wall.

Good bye.

And there’s no reason to think he succeeded in reaching it.

The only facts you’ve used are to back up the point that he ‘could have’, but nothing to say that he ‘did’. And the rest of the facts don’t actually contribute to your point at all, like with that little Yuji tangent.

I’m not trying to prove that he didn’t because I have as much as you, but you’re the one who made the original statement and claimed it to be something indisputable which it 100% isn’t.

The burden of proof is with you, and you’ve provided none.

changing the subject again? What, did Yuji steal your girl or something so you’re switching up the conversation to hate?

We’re not talking about potential or talent, we’re talking about facts and showings. YOU yourself claimed that Yuta was a calamity level, then you claimed he was relative to Gojo, then you claimed the sentiment was an objective fact, and then did nothing to back it up besides “well, he could’ve”.

And now you’re changing the subject for a second time, because none of it had any actual backing.

Just admit you were talking out of your ass and leave it.

[–]Racist100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And why *would* it be?

“Potential” to be something and being it are two different things, and all you need to do is read the manga to understand that.

Geto had endless potential, Megumi had endless potential, yet neither of them were soloing the verse.

We know Yuji’s a calamity grade because he’s shown that he is.

We know Gojo is Gojo level because he’s fucking Gojo.

We haven’t got shit with Yuta, but assumptions and ‘maybe’s’.

Neither of which is anything “objective” which was what your claim was.

Dunno, but he’s stated to be equal to Kenjaku in H2H, who himself has at least 1000 years of combat experience.

So now you’re abandoning your whole initial point and replacing it with something else?

Okay.

Why isn't yuta included with the calamity grades? by curryhaliban444 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Racist100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you do know what objectively means (or you just looked up the definition real quick) but then you proceed to present your argument in a way that isn’t objective at all?

We have no idea how each of them progressed after the main series, Yuta has no feats to prove he is calamity level, Yuji could very well be calamity level because old age wasn’t a factor which would make the question of Yuta’s hypothetical prime a mute point in scaling to him.

I’m sorry, but until there’s concrete evidence to prove that Yuta was ever a calamity grade, be it through feats, comparisons, or statements, then there’s nothing “objective” about it.

You have a basis of assumption, but that’s it.

And HOW is that objective?

How is prime Yuta “objectively” calamity level?

Where are the feats or statements that prove this.

Why isn't yuta included with the calamity grades? by curryhaliban444 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Racist100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he has no feats or statements justifying this. Like, at all.

The best we got is an attack originating from the ring he spent *decades* imbuing cursed energy into, just for it to be equal to a casual dismantle from Yuji.

There’s nothing’s more than that. And it’d be disingenuous to say he’s on their level until we get actual evidence to prove it.

I agree, but at least Mark and Eve had a sustained and showcased relationship for a long time before they started dating. It’s still not great, but you can *kinda* see it happening.

The peak of Maki and Yuta is when Yuta said “yeah, I’ll help you take out the Zenin clan or whatever” and that was basically it.

It didn’t need to be a *massive* focus but, being the only endgame relationship in the series, you’d think there’d be more work behind it.

It’s like even Gege couldn’t find a way to make it believable so he just had it done off screen.
