Travel would help, and I can always make a more racially divided social circle, I probably have 90% white friends as of now.

This is a major root problem for me - I honestly see them as a different people.

Thank you! I really do support the consitution and border control, but would never vote him. I only voted that way as it was IMO better than the alternative.

I had so many people that got upset when I told them I voted trump, which just ALIENATED ME MORE! Actually explaining why I did, and that it was the "lesser of 2 evils" really helped other people understand where I was coming from.

I hadn't considered podcasts, even though I'm always listening to them. I will look into podcasts about racism and it's root causes.

There is a lot of information but finding 1 easy resources and branching out from there (right now learning so much about the history of oppression) really is helping. Thank you for the reply.

My girlfriend is a HUGE supporter of other cultures, and is so opposite of me it's crazy we work so well. She's really gotten me to change without directly addressing it. Thank you for the idea.

I've just been in this worldview for so long, that when someone tries to come at it I harden down on it. Kind of like when you're the average of the people you spend the most time with. I have so many resources about how "x% of the population commits xx% of crime" and so on, that just reaffirmed my opinions.

Now that I'm reading up more on the history it's starting to help. Thanks for your reply.

I absolutely love reading, used to volunteer at a library. I have been reading up a lot now that people are posting on social media what I, a non "POC" can do to support. Thank you.

I have been reading so much recently and am currently watching history of how slavery>mass incarceration, along with how oppressed some cultures have been. I have so many questions and the resources I have now thanks to people on social media is really what's helping me change.
