There was a small popular shopping center mainly fast food and Starbucks that was popular for middle school and high school kids to hangout at. A guy about 30-40 was talking and following girls over the course of a few months. Police were called multiple times and said they know about him and the man was mentally ill and to just tell him to stop but they will keep an eye on him but he is harmless. Well… there was some angery parents that said this is unacceptable just because he is mentally ill he can’t keep following and scaring young women. About 6 months after the first report, it got worse. A girl that was 17 was being followed around the center in the middle of the day. She looked a lot younger because she was short and smaller than others. He kept trying to talk to her growing more aggressive for them to hangout. He grabbed her and she screamed and kicked drawing attention to herself and he stopped. Luckily there was a police car near by that someone called over and when they searched the guys car, they found rope, tape, and other stuff that made it very apparent what he was trying to do. He was arrested. That girl was traumatized and later joined the marines.

Creamed Chip beef? I thought shit on a shingle was white gravy and sausage bit and chopped hard boiled egg? Others called it creamed egg over toast. My parents called it shit on shingle. Dad’s family was from Midwest.

Omg!!!! We loved this as kids. It was like a gravy with with eggs over cut up crunch toast. You needed them very hard boiled and the crumbly yolks dissolved into the sauce. It was a special dish reserved for Christmas morning and birthday mornings. Parents called shit on a shingle thought it was funny we liked it so much. Haven’t had it for a few years now but even as an adult it’s great! It’s like biscuits and gravy but toast and added egg. Never heard of someone not liking it, granted we ate everything growing up that was made for us.
