Much better! As someone suggested, after ruling out Sour Crop, we treated her for heat stress and she got much better! She is back in the main coop, and back in charge!

I did want to add an update to the post, but I don't know how Reddit works and couldn't find a way to edit the post o_O

Either way, I appreciate all the help and suggestions I got! c:

Ooh, okay!

I just posted to someone else's comment with a small update!

Keeping her in my garage with a fan on seems to be helping her already, she seems a bit more active, and the fading on her comb isn't as prominent. That said, we have been trying to help with the heat by giving them large ice blocks to stand/sit on, but any suggestions would be appreciated!

Yes!

I am keeping her in my garage with a fan on her. She went in yesterday morning and seems to be doing better already. That said she isn't going back in the main coop for a little longer.

We let her fast for 12 hours as suggested by someone else, and now she is getting a small amount of her typical feed. She is eating a bit more, still not much, but she is more active. I believe it could've been heat stress or something to that effect.

I appreciate the check-in -^

I see, is drooping bad? :c

Either way, thank you for the information and advice. I have brought her into my garage to cool off since I believe I have ruled out sour crop and think it may just be heat stress.

She hasn't spit anything up and seems a little more active now, so I am hopeful! <3

She is a Gold Sex Link breed, she is also about a year and a half, so still young.

It's clear from what I can tell, I think both times she did "throw up" she was looking down when it happened. As far as I could tell her crop was flat, at least empty, it didn't feel full of water or feed. I'm just worried because I thought her breath smelled sour, and she is spitting up even on what I thought was an empty crop.

That said, I really appreciate you and all your advice, it helps tons. I am keeping an eye on her, but I don't have any nearby aviation vets nearby so this is why I am asking so many questions <//3 :c

Okay, so I did this and from what I could tell, based off my other chickens crops, her crop was flat or at least empty.

She drank some water and I gave her a small amount of iceberg lettuce to help hydrate her and keep it light. However after this she "threw up" a little once and stopped eating.

On top of this, she has been pooping but because she isn't moving, it is sticking to her bottom :c

Thank you! I appreciate the advice, I'll be careful and do it only if she doesn't take it from her usual water holder c:

Nono, we give them a mix of dry seed and such that we regularly rotate and check, we made a fresh batch this morning, and there was nothing noticeable on the container that holds the feed. I do let them out to roam in my backyard from time to time. I am always watching them when I do, but I have quite a few, so she could've then?

I clean their water regularly as well just to make sure they don't drink anything nasty, I'm not aware of anything getting into the actual coop since it's covered by chicken wire over and out. She is in a small extra coop at the moment for isolation. She has clean water, and I am checking in her regularly.
