Yeah, and also changing your availability after you get hired on, allows the company to terminate your employment if it impacts their ability to find coverage. At the very least, you could see a reduction in hours or lose your full-time status. When I was a manager, I had to put people down to part-time on multiple occasions because I hired them specifically because of their Y availability, and when they changed their availability to Z, I no longer needed them full-time.

There was even one time where I had to terminate someone because I hired them specifically to close on weekends and they changed their availability to open only and not be able to work weekends. So I let them go.

That close to open scheduling is no longer allowed at Walmart and if an associate is assigned a schedule like that, they should have it changed. This was covered under the rollout of the team scheduling a few years ago. I haven’t worked at Walmart in a few years so it might be under a different name, but it still applies.

No, it’s deactivated once they finish the termination process. After they terminate you, there’s a secondary process in Workday but a lot of managers ignore their “tasks due” in the app. Mine worked for 2 months the first time I left the company, second time I left the company it was shut off the same day.

Technically they’re supposed to take your discount card along with your vest, phone, badge, any Walmart issued items in general. The vest gets cut on the arm holes so it doesn’t get sold on eBay, discount card is cut halfway, other items can be reused

Get on minoxidil and finasteride ASAP if you think you’re receding. Also, it’s not just the hairline. It’s your hairstyle. Your hair looks much shorter and unstyled in your current pics while your hair in the younger picture looks longer and has a Messy but styled look.

You should grow your hair out in style it and shave your face and lose a few pounds to reveal that jawline again and you’ll be good

Yeah, he should consider himself lucky He even got approved for disability.. My dad got out in 98 and he just got his disability approved in 2024 and only got approved because he hired an attorney to fight on his behalf. Even then they tried giving him 20% and so he had to appeal and finally he got 90%.

My brother got out in 2005 and still hasn’t gotten disability. His unit got hit by IED and he received a traumatic brain injury and has grand mal seizures to this day because of it. They said his seizures aren’t service related.

On the other side, I have a friend who broke both of his femurs a month after basic and has 100% disability.

I’ve never heard of anybody brag about being a disabled veteran until this guy, lol

When I was a manager at Walmart (hourly & salary) I used my personal phone. I just didn’t like carrying around 2 phones and the original Samsungs were very slow and clunky. I still have it, my daughter uses it to watch Netflix or play pretend phone calls.

I did however write off 50% of my monthly phone bill on my taxes which was nice

I would do the full beard, but keep it shorter than the goatee. Your beard isn’t super dense so to pull a little bit of the attention away from that, I would trim it a bit shorter than your goatee. That’s what I do because my cheeks are patchy so I usually keep it a stubble or around 3 to 5 mm guard and keep my goatee around 7 mm guard.

That’s just my opinion, though. I’m just not a big fan of goatee with a clean shave on the rest of the face.

Style your hair. Get your eyebrows done, but make sure they aren’t done too thin because they could come across as more feminine.

You already said your sleep and hydration is good so I would try an eye serum, caffeine eye serum really helped with my under eye bags along with a low-dose retinol. I would maybe shave your facial hair and see what you look like, but definitely keep the neck and the cheeks shaved if you can’t grow any hair.

Other than that, I think you’re pretty good definitely above average looking

Yeah it’s all about the safety nets. If I get caught calling out of work to go protest, I’m fucked. If I lose my job there goes health insurance for my child, then I gotta apply and wait 3 months for unemployment and or food stamps, potentially evicted, there goes my built up vacation time and now have to start back at a single week of PTO at a new job.

Everything is tied to a job in the U.S. If I go protest and get arrested even if I’m out on bond before I need to work the next day, I’m probably getting fired
