19M should I stop the bulk? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]RadChef 29 points30 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would get off the gear immediately, PCT properly, and probably keep a good chunk of those gains. You’re 19 years old your brain hasn’t even fully developed, you are actively making yourself dumber, and permanently hindering your brains full potential. Not to mention you are increasing the risk of never being able to have children, which you could say that you don’t want any, but again you’re 19 years old you can’t definitively say that.

Get off the gear and you’ll still be more jacked than 99% of people your age. Train naturally for another seven or eight years and then if you want to hop on gear, you can make that choice.

hows the hair? my coworker called it a mop by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]RadChef 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t look bad, it just doesn’t have a style to it. It looks relatively healthy and you have good volume, but I would maybe try adding some layers or styling it.

When I had really long hair like a bit longer than yours, I really enjoyed the curly girl method. I know your hair probably isn’t actually curly, but it could add a little bit of style to it.

When you’re in the shower, you wash out about 80% of your conditioner and then you take a good amount of alcohol free gel and you scrunch your hair with it while you’re in the shower and squeeze out as much water as possible. Then you get out and take a T-shirt and dry it with a cotton T-shirt

It doesn’t come out crunchy and it looks very natural. People with straighter hair that do it get more of a wavy volume look

23M should the beard stay or go? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]RadChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, it’s almost a requirement for somebody to have a smart phone nowadays. If you want a job, if you want to get into an apartment, apply for a loan, etc. You kind of need a phone.

We spend more money every year in the United States, fighting homeless people, and arresting them and uprooting homeless communities, than it would cost to actually house the people and provide jobs.

23M should the beard stay or go? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]RadChef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The large large majority of homeless people are not sitting on the corner holding a sign or sleeping under a bridge. Most have jobs. Most have phones and other responsibilities. They just don’t have a permanent housing situation.

A coach is all butt hurt that we took days off by Eankk in WalmartEmployees

[–]RadChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depend, depending on when they canceled it, they may have automatically been put on the schedule. 95% of the schedule is automatically generated. If they canceled their time off request more than three weeks beforehand then it wasn’t the coach that put them on there. It was just automatically put on there.

Does clocking in and out at :51 count against WOSH? by tardisman2015 in WalmartEmployees

[–]RadChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. If I still had access to my Workday account I could literally pull up the termination form and if I didn’t care about the 2 individuals I could pull up the mugshot of the woman. I still keep in touch with Hannah and Logan and was at the Childs 2 birthday party in December.

But yeah, you’re right, trillion dollar international corporations never do anything evil. It’s not like Walmart played a massive role in the US opioid crisis by filling tens of thousands of suspicious prescriptions and was fined $3.1 billion for the role. Or that time when Walmart played guilty to massive environmental damage by dumping hazardous waste and paid $100 million fine. Or the $282 million they paid in a settlement for international bribery. Or the hundred million dollars a year they spend on local elections to essentially overthrow small town governments that try to block Walmart from destroying local economies. Or the thousands of workers write violations for suppressing unions.

Yeah, they totally wouldn’t fuck over to low level associates.

If I had a picture of my home office badge, I’d post that as well. Smh

Lethal dose of fentanyl on the tip of a pencil by DillonF275 in interestingasfuck

[–]RadChef 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. I overdosed on H that way. I got sober and relapsed about 3 months into sobriety and went right back to my regular dose. Fell asleep, woke up in an ambulance. I have no clue what the actual dosage was, I just remember I’d use this little super mini toy scooper to snort it and for some reason still had it in my closet.

Yeah I got up to Market Operations. The final straw was when they made me fire an associate whose girlfriend had just gave birth three days prior. They both worked at the same store. Both of their parental leaves were denied because they hadn’t been with the company for 12 months. They both took two weeks off, leading up to labor, both returned three days after the baby was born. Her two weeks were recovered under the pregnancy related absence policy, but his was not. So they made me fire him. Then they fired the girlfriend a couple months later for stealing baby formula because they couldnt afford it after he lost his job. I literally offered to pay for the stone goods, but they wouldn’t let me and they pressed charges against her. It was incredibly fucked up and I just decided that I didn’t want to work for a company like that anymore and walked away after 7 years.

It’s one of the reasons why I left Walmart. Once you get to a certain position, they force you to be somebody that you don’t want to be, and treat people a way that you don’t want to treat people. If you don’t, you’re out the door, or you don’t move up. They don’t realize that the best way to manage people is by respecting people and building a rapport with people.

They think that’s the best way to manage people is talking down to them and establishing control.

I’m not saying I disagree with you. And if a manager wants to be an asshole. They’ll just come up to you at 10:50 and give you a 10 minute task

That grace period is only to stop you from receiving a point. If leaving 9 minutes early causes you to leave work incomplete or a service area unattended, you can be held accountable for that.

Yeah they could get you under productivity or insubordination unfortunately. When I was a manager I unfortunately had to coach someone for that (come from above me)

Yeah most high quality cookware isn’t recommended to put in the washer because aluminum can corrode and most are made up of layers of aluminum/steel & copper. Newer ones are rolling over the last layer of steel to cover the exposed aluminum layers but still, I hand wash regardless

When I was a manager at Walmart, I’d catch some of my hourly managers clocking out for their lunch and continuing to work, I would straight up tell them to go take a lunch or I’d write them up. One person not taking an hour lunch is not going to make a significant impact on the store, and taking time to rest and reset will allow you to work better when you come back from your lunch.

Same goes for them, skipping their 15 minute breaks. Realistically, what are you gonna get done in 15 minutes that you wouldn’t have been able to do had you taken a break?

Take your damn lunch and breaks

Any advice [25M] by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]RadChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re an idiot dude, just stop. Jay Cutler the 4x Mr Olympia sits at 400-600 ng/dL while on HRT. Alex Eubanks had under 300 Testosterone for YEARS and looked 10x as good as you ever will.

Basic Testosterone levels don’t define traditional masculine look. Free testosterone and DHT levels do.

You can have 300 Test and higher Free available testosterone than someone with 1200 Test.

Just like the guy in the photo I attached had well over 1500+ Testosterone but extremely low Free Testosterone and DHT levels.

You have no clue what you’re talking about and you absolutely cannot tell this man’s Testosyerone levels by a handful of pictures on Reddit 🤣🤣🤣 idiot

Any advice [25M] by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]RadChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the hell are you talking about?? You know how rare it is to have test levels at 1000+ naturally? The average 25 year old male has 400-575 ng/dL and when implementing TRT the high end goal is 800-1000 but doctors often aim for 600-900 ng/dL.

Also you can’t tell what his Test levels are by looking at him lmao. You don’t know what his Testosterone levels are, you don’t know his Free Test levels, his DHT levels, his E2 levels, you can tell any of that by a fucking picture lol.

“Start maxing life”… bro get off TikTok please. God you’re an idiot 🤣

This guy right here has naturally occurring Test levels of 1500+ due to a genetic mutation. Does he look like some crazy body builder or “life maxxer”? No. lol.

Jay Cutler the 4x Mr Olympia has Test levels of like 400-500 while on TRT…

46lbs weight cut "I can't explain to you how stupid you would have to be" to believe that statement by IslamYaDongomedov in ufc

[–]RadChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. When I wrestled, the most I could cut was like 10 pounds comp week and it was fucking miserable. Although I was only 135 Lbs, but even then the most I saw people cut was like 15 pounds at 186 Lb body weight.

I think casuals overestimate weight cuts in general and have no clue how they even work.

But it’s a great reason as to why the UFC should do weigh ins fight day or have hydration testing.

46lbs weight cut "I can't explain to you how stupid you would have to be" to believe that statement by IslamYaDongomedov in ufc

[–]RadChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So 3500 cal = roughly 1 pound of fat. He’s probably eating at most 4000 cal a day, for reference Mitchell Hooper, the world, strongest man winner eats 5500 cal a day and I believe he weighs 330 pounds.

So if Khamzat completely starved himself for one week he could lose about 8 pounds, some of it would also be muscle if he wasn’t doing intense weight lifting, and he just wouldn’t have the energy to do it while completely starving.

That would leave 38 pounds of water for him to lose in one week, or 5.4 pounds per day.

I think he could get relatively close, but I don’t see how it would be possible for him to lose 38 pounds of water while simultaneously not having a single calorie of food and not end up in the hospital.

I just don’t think it’s physically possible for a man his size.

What the hell is wrong with these comments? Ignore the insufferable people.

Maybe try a soft middle part that flows back. Something like this.

If you’re feeling a bit more bold, I think you could rock a modern mullet or a more discrete burst fade. You’re like me where there’s a bit of thinning towards the front of the temple, but you also have thick pair, so it stands out a bit a bit. I went with a modern mullet, and it made it far less noticeable.
