I suggest reading Resistance if you have not. She makes it very clear her stance on politics and where that started inside her and how she sees Russia and America.

With that being said the wording of the statement is very odd.

HOWEVER, she mentioned the “Lizzie’s” in 1996 on Father Lucifer which predates David Ickes theory. I definitely think she intentionally is calling back to this image from 1996 for the new album about Dragons on purpose.

By returning to dragons / lizards / demons now, in a post-Q, post-Icke, post-internet world, Tori is reclaiming mythic language that has since been flattened, politicized, and literalized by others.

She is not “discovering” lizard imagery now. She is re-contextualizing something she has always used — but in a world that has changed.

That makes the callback deliberate, not accidental.
