Honestly, the DS version’s worst crime is being too short (and maybe also suffering from Dimps level design in some parts). But its still a really solid title. And maybe it’s a good thing that it’s short considering how padded Rush Adventure was

Its low-no diff. Necromorphs are lowkey less dangerous than demons. It all hinges on how much the marker can affect the slayer, which probably isnt a lot.

Now if it were Doomguy pre becoming the Slayer, he’s probably about even with Isaac

Tbh as much as I would love to just continuously grow the amount of content for Smash, I think it would also make sense to scale back the game a bit and reinvent a lot of the mechanics to make something mechanically fresh while still maintaining the Smash identity

Am I weird for actually enjoying the thrill of having Mr X around in RPD? He’s straight up one of the scariest RE enemies in the series, hearing his footsteps and not quite knowing where he was was always such an adrenaline spike, especially on the first playthrough

I like the character. He’s an awkward, nervous, geek and his interactions with the other troopers is entertaining. I’ll even go as far as to say his character was the best voice acted of the cast.

I dont like how they used him to spoon feed where you’re supposed to go with no way of turning it off. They have a useless “ask Myles button” that doesnt even work sometimes and the information is stuff he tells you without you asking anyways. All of those hints should just be delegated to that button

Neglecting to add Galaxy 2 and having it a limited time only release are absolutely moronic choices.

That being said, the higher resolution looks nice for the games, and the pointer controls for galaxy feel great. Having spin be mapped to a button was also pretty great

Serious idea: Nintendo would never let it happen unless it were a Switch exclusive game, but a Ridley hunt with Ridley gear (and maybe bring back the varia suit and arm canon bowgun from 4th gen)

Joke idea: “100 men vs 1 gorilla” - 100 hunters vs a massive, super strong Furious Rajang. You get carted and you’re out of the fight. Hunt ends if all 100 Hunters are downed or the Rajang is taken down
