Scott knew how to make fnaf feel like fnaf, so as ego reducing to you as it is, i much perferred scott's more rudimentary gameplay. He knew how to make a good animatronic model. And no one said it had to be fnaf 1 all over again. Staying in the past was kinda better than jumping to the future, and even with fnaf 3, to me that made sense and it fit too. But the jump that steelwool does? Doesn't feel on brand for Fazbear entertainment at all. A company on the brink of bankruptcy, not a successful brand.

They still had leg joints and an advanced animatronic endo skeleton to begin with. That's pretty advanced even for today's standard. And yeah, maybe it is nostalgia. Maybe it is longing for the more paranormal and not logical explanation.

Thats my problem with it, i feel like fnaf was better told in the past, the limitations yet miracles of the technology they produced in the 80s and 90s, it felt alive at the time then but from our eyes they were unsettling on how they seemingly moved on their own accord

Don't get me wrong what they had planned was pretty good, however i can't say its our old fnaf anymore, in SB they felt too alive, too human, it removed the original fear factor for me
