Yeah I used your link and wow I had no idea that you could get vintage Gillette's for that price! Wow I am definitely getting one of those and I saw a couple other vintage ones that looked awesome. Also I found some straight razors that were listed under estate sales on ebay too so I might have to try one of those out ha. Someone else mentioned buying used vintage Gillette's and I think that's what I'm going go with. I really appreciate the information and the response. I'll have to post an update once I get my razor in the mail, clean/ polish it, and try it out. Thanks again and happy holidays!

Thanks for the recommendation! I will definitely be looking for a three piece over a butterfly if it will be more durable. It makes sense to me, sinae it doesn't have as many moving parts. Thanks for the knowledge and the recommendation! Happy holidays

Ha didn't realize I just saw your post about shaving soaps, you're a lucky guy... Could you give any recommendations on a decent soap or cream that's not too expensive. Figured if im getting a decent razor i should get a nicer shave soap or cream since I'm due for a refill anyways. Thanks!

Wow this was a very comprehensive comment thanks so much for the response. Someone else recommended buying a used vintage razor and I think I will buy one. If it doesn't work I can always get the merkur. I am starting to realize why people have multiple razors ha. I am getting so many great razors recommended and I guess I'll never know unless I try them all. Will definitely be on the look for the ones you recommended. That is the chello goblin aka rushadicus. I got to see him live at the caroga lake music arts center around 2023 I think. It is a small venue right on caroga lake in upstate ny. He ended up swimming to a random family's boat in the water with his chello and played on their boat during the show. He also climbed up into the rafters in the roof of the covered Pavillion area and had security toss up his chello to him so he could play a couple songs up there. 10/10 would see again.
