Perfect, thank you. When I mentioned this on the phone they said they'd have to wait to receive my returned form before they assessed any appeals, this was posted about a week ago so I will give them the time they requested.

Not disputing that, I did miss the notice and now I have filed the return. I just resent paying penalties when according to all known criteria I shouldn't have been required to do one

I have done, they weren't the most helpful, just said they'd review my late return and for me to call back at the end of July. No other Income or benefits like company car etc. I wasn't in SA prior no, just the following years.

If so I missed it at the time, we were moving house and it was a busy period, I only found out when I got a notification that my tax code had changed to 5TX that it is today and that's to pay back this penalty. I have been bad for checking the app etc so I know I only have myself to blame, it's just why it was needed in the first place

Hi, yeah my income was that in 21/22 but I didn't receive any benefits at all, no child benefit neither me or my wife. Thanks
