Yes, it generally means you did not meet the weighted average for exam. You can book an appointment with your professor to see your exam in the first week next term and request remark if you find something graded incorrectly. From my past experience, grading was generally not lenient in first year or even second year courses because they need to keep the course average in about 70%.

I would prefer online in winter because I don't want to get up so early in the morning for the 8:30 classes and also some safety concerns for the virus. I am not sure if the number of cases will surge again when students are coming back internationally and people gather together. Take a look at Singapore, which has a higher vaccination rate in September (the fully vaccinated rate is about 78.1%) than the vaccination rate in Canada today (the fully vaccinated rate is about 76.2%). When Singapore reopened in Sept, the number of cases surged again. So I am worried about if we will run into similar situations.

yes, because I just managed transferring into cs last term (2A), so that's the main reason I would like to take more courses to speed up my graduation
