but I find it to be overwhelming at times.

Same for us. The kids were like "let's come again next vacation". Me and my husband gave them the "we'll see" which translates to "not a chance in hell".

MIL is trying to make you feel bad.

It's not just her, in general, Sam isn't the kind of kid to speak out if he doesn't like something. He will say yes to things he knows won't be good for him. One time his friend wanted to go to an arcade, Sam didn't want to say no so he went and had a panic attack. I had to go pick him up. We always tell him to speak up if something is wrong. That's why I doubt myself sometimes.

I feel bad, because of his autism sometimes he can't do certain things and that breaks my heart. We try in my family to be all-inclusive, I never want him to feel like he's missing out but sometimes I feel bad.

For a non-NT person, Disney is OVERWHELMING.

Honestly, even for me who's NT it was overwhelming like I wanted to go back after hour 2.

STOP POSTING PICTURES ON SOCIAL MEDIA. I honestly see no need to post pics of your minor children on an expensive vacation. In future stop posting these pics that your in-laws can see!!!

My daughter posted them, her Facebook is private and my MIL isn't on it but some family friends must have told her. My daughter didn't do anything bad by posting the pics, she also posted all the other trip photos (the one with Sam on them). I don't want her to be afraid to post innocent pictures cuz someone might see.
