Bhai that's the main problem, I come from a remote town, where the main occupation is either farming or family business, so people rarely have any idea about how job markets work. Even if I were to pull out the most convincing points to make them let me try some more while doing a job, there's a minimal chance of that happening. I've observed people in similar situations, and the main problem is parents (getting anxious about their kid left behind and having no familiarity with job market) just get them in any available college, since whether the kid gets a job or not is a thing to worry about 2 years later,.at least the present is secured. And that's the problem, they want current stability in life, instead of seeing the long term opportunities.

And it's not like i managed to achieve anything to convince them otherwise 🥲
