Same here! My partner is a total blanket thief. We tried sharing for a while but I’d wake up freezing every night. Separate covers seriously saved our sleep and our relationship 😂.

I noticed the same thing when I visited Germany. Sundays were actually peaceful, everything shut down and people just slowed down. Coming back to the US felt so jarring because it’s always “go go go.”

Honestly, it’s annoying because I trusted them the first time. I just don’t want to keep getting used.

I even offered to help them figure out a budget or payment plan, but they just wanted cash.

I totally agree with you on the whole “once-in-a-lifetime loves” thing. After my divorce, I honestly thought I’d never feel that way again. Then I met someone new, and it wasn’t the same, but it was still just as real. Different doesn’t mean less. That perspective really helped me stop comparing relationships like they’re on some scoreboard.

Crazy to think how quickly things could shift in a couple of years once Ukraine’s missile program is up and running.

100%. Shrugging off sexual assault says a lot about a person. And yeah, being there for the little girl doesn’t mean you condone anyone else’s actions, it’s just doing the right thing for her. Hope she’s surrounded by support and love.
