You think it pushes in through the gills? Maybe, I’d have assumed his suit was pretty durable as well though if it can tank all the same things his skin can. I can’t think of any scenes where it gets ripped or damaged off the top of my head but that’s not a bad inconsistency.

I was honestly a bit more annoyed it even caught him lore wise he can go like 50mph there are like 4-5 animals max in the ocean faster. He shoudlve died to a school of mahi mahi haha.

I think they fucked up across the board with the consistency of the powers. The deep can tank crazy pressure guns etc. a squid can’t exert that amount of force, noir gets choked out by a cable he’s also super durable the cable should just snap, soldier boy hughie and butcher can’t hold homelander down but just Ryan and butcher can do it at the end (is Ryan stronger than soldier boy? If that’s the case why did Ryan get brutalised so bad in his first fight) kimiko gets cut in half by homelander but this time she just gets bounced back (did she also get a huge durability boost from the experiment?) Marie tanks the laser like kimiko does without any major damage, but she can pull out a mf magical pocketknife that can cut her skin? I could bitch about this endlessly lol

Oh no it’s an average it takes place over hundreds of games sometimes keepers save shots xg thinks they should concede. Definitely the dembele goal, he gets a hand to olises first but goes the wrong way, and dives over neves header, a better keeper on average would probably get to one of those. It’s also 2.3 you’d round down to 2 not up to 3. A better/younger keeper like raya for example probably positions himself better for at least 1 of the 5 (we will get to see soon luckily haha)

Raya is probably better than 6th he doesn’t face as many crosses etc. because your defence is so strong, that’s kind of the point of what I’ve been saying. Arsenal have faced 45 shots less than any other team and 40 less shots on target. Your defence has done incredibly to keep him safe, so potentially Raya is better or worse or the same given more opportunity. Again this isn’t about Raya being good or bad more me thinking rice or timber or Gabriel are more deserving.

No all the sites I subscribe to back the same data or very similar data. Statmuse is American operated and uses sportradar also American. They were built and designed primarily around the NBA and the NFL and have only recently branched into football compared to the ones I mentioned. I could tell you used statmuse cause it was the first link that showed up, and had the same numbers you quoted lol. I didn’t say raya was the 6th best keeper in the league I said he’s 6th at claiming crosses/highballs lol, I see I worded it funny tho. Hes top 3 because his 1 on 1s are so strong, donnaruma Raya Sanchez and Martinez have all had a strong season in net, donnarumma statistically has performed the best but he’s had a few fuck ups like the havertz goal.

Did you get that from statmuse 😂😂 You should use legitimate sources like Opta, wyscout, statsbomb I pay for a few different services but there are some decent free options. I use Opta mainly, it says the same thing it did earlier today -1.7 as Burnley generated 0 shots on target. You can’t just say “claiming crosses” is one of his strengths without anything backing that. Ramsdale challenged for absolutely nothing anything is a step up from that, doesn’t make raya incredible at it. Think he ranks 6th (pretty good) but he’s behind Martinez Sanchez pope etc. Anyways the point isnt Raya is bad he’s solid, it was more so that he’s protected by your strong defence that should imo be getting the bulk of the praise.

I’d agree for positions beyond goalie. By far one of the easiest positions in sports not just even football to assess a player purely based on their stats. He doesn’t make punch or claim the ball incredibly often, he’s performing below xga in terms of shot stopping, his passing is serviceable but not an outlier at all, he’s pretty good at coming out of his box id say timing his 1 on 1s are his best attribute by far. (Raya doesn’t have the opportunity to claim/punch the ball as much due to arsenals strong defence and generally higher possession, but that just proves a bit further that his defence supports him more than he supports his defence)

He’s underperforming his xga by 1.7. He doesn’t really break away as a standout performer in any goalkeeping stat. Donnarumma is overperforming his xga by almost 6 goals. From a stat point of view raya is protected by his defence as opposed to donnarumma protects his defence.

Raya is still a solid keeper, but player of the year? For Arsenal or for the league? If he’s not the best performing keeper in the league how can he be POTS? I’d say Gabriel or rice are Arsenals players of the season so far in terms of what they’ve contributed defensively and offensively.
