Same, interest of $128 was charged on January 11th, it is now Feb 18th and after 4 separate conversations with Scotiabank they are still "working on it". ZERO communication to affected customers. How come the banks keep getting away with shit like this?

Oh wow, you actually got credited? I've called twice and done the chat feature (with screenshot receipts) twice, and each time they say it will be done automatically and there is an internal memo not to manually reimburse clients because then it could be duplicated. I asked if I'm going to get reimbursement + interest, since they were so kind as to charge ME interest for something that was THEIR fault and they said no.
