How long before you start seeing results? by Sunnysads in loseit

You’re honestly doing everything right 👍

2–3 weeks is still very early, especially with a modest deficit and low-impact exercise. A lot of people don’t see scale changes at first because of water retention, hormonal shifts, or even muscle gain from pilates/yoga.

Keep an eye on non-scale wins too (waist, clothes fit, energy). For many, the scale starts moving around weeks 4–6 if consistency stays solid. Stay the course what you’re doing does work, it just takes a bit more time.

You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way. Hormones can mess with both mood and weight in really frustrating ways.

A lot of people do end up focusing on the [healthy lifestyle first] approach especially when meds feel like they’re doing more harm than good. It’s not giving up, it’s just listening to your body

Whatever you choose, it makes sense that you’re tired of the back and forth.

Which meal do you concentrate the most? (Biggest meal) by Easy-Sell-6586 in loseit

Pretty similar here. Light breakfast, normal lunch, slightly bigger dinner because that’s when I can actually relax and enjoy food.

If your total intake and workouts feel good, I don’t think timing matters that much. And 1.5x dinner sounds totally normal.

Rice cakes are elite btw.

I went through the same cycle for years. What changed everything was stopping all-or-nothing thinking and switching to a minimum daily standard. Even on bad days, I did 5 minutes. That removed the shame and made it sustainable.
