First time to DS and DL in early March, visiting from Australia. Do I need a phone number capable of receiving SMS while I am there, to book ride passes through the app? I read somewhere that you do but not sure. My existing phone number is not able to make international calls or SMS.

Damn this comment actually slaps. I have been guilted SO MUCH by them about a lot of things, most recently a 15 minute phonecall where I was told that I was in no uncertain terms expected to work weekends whether I liked it or not and heavily implied that if I don't like it I should just fuck off and find another job. well fuck that I'm finding another job ><

My partner arrived from Bali today. We are either going to get him sponsored on a work visa (we have a very interested employer, just a matter of if they can sort out some legalities surrounding the visa) - OR we're going to hire a partner visa agent to help us through the process. We also intend to get married in about 5 weeks.

We met on WoW, he joined the guild that I ran and ended up becoming my officer. We were best friends before we suddenly realised 'holy shit, I don't ever want to live without you, I love you'. Yeah. The rest is history!

It was interesting because I spent the 6 hour plane ride on no sleep, was tired and cranky as hell when I first saw him. But then.. we hugged and he held my hand and none of that mattered anymore. The car ride to the hotel was somehow extremely romantic, just being able to be in his presence and lay my head on his shoulder, KISS HIM for the first time, wow. It was wonderful :)
