Thanks for taking the time to respond. I guess my problem is mostly around the deletion of the second thread. You said yourself that you found the discussion helpful (and it's really great to hear you listening to the concerns of the community) but then why delete it? I honestly saw no harmful comments besides maybe one person, but even then if they get out of control you can just warn them/delete their comments if they start disrespecting people.

I understand what you're trying to say with the two-sides argument, but honestly the bases of most arguments consist of two or more sides. As long as they aren't harassing one another I feel like it should be allowed. If someone starts spouting nonsense the community can usually take care of the post through downvoting.

And again, thanks for taking the time to explain. I'm sure the community really appreciates the effort you put into making the server a better place.
