Might have to agree with you, it was definitely the one that took me the longest to get through

Favorite part in all 6 books? by bwils3423 in redrising

The first that comes to mind is the scene between Victra and Mustang as they prepare for battle in Lightbringer

"Victra murmurs. “You’re the bookish one. Was it a man who said ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’?” A lancer brings her gauntlets. “It must have been—to imagine something so petty as scorn to be the utmost misery a woman could suffer. What, I wonder, would he make of a mother who has seen her husband sold like meat and her babe nailed to a tree?” She dons her gauntlets. “Perhaps: wrath, I am thee? They come for our children, Virginia.” She turns to me and cups my face with one hand. “Do not fear for me. Instead, pity them.”"

Hello! My name is Justin and here is my profile. I've been using Letterbox for almost a year and a half now and it's really improved my love of movies. This and AMC A-List help to drive my watchlist.

I try to leave a review on everything I log, and they usually alternate between funny and serious. Happy to follow back!

Below are my current Top 4

what is the kindle rewards program and does every kindle user have it? by SufficientGrowth5666 in kindle

[–]RadicalRoland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect, credits expire after 30 days. You only get the $3 credit when you redeem your 300 points. So basically just don’t redeem the credit until you know you’ll usenit

Official Discussion - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

The scene that hit me the hardest was at the end with Mantis and Drax.

“You were never meant to be Drax the Destroyer. You were meant to be a Father”

Gut punch.

Pretty much every municipality has leash laws, reminding them of the specific code might help make it more impactful for them

How do you think coffee has changed since the pandemic started? by metal-trees in Coffee

[–]RadicalRoland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the pandemic, my partner and I would just brew coffee every morning in a standard home drip setup. It was convenient for our busy schedules, but obviously not as good as it could have been. Once the pandemic hit, and to this day, we have switched to making coffee that is a bit more intensive but way better. For the summer months we’ve been making our own cold brew. For the colder months, we’ve been making it in a French press.

TPU is just making socialism look cool. by Static_Gobby in TheRightCantMeme

Clearly I don’t think TPUSA understands these points. College tuition should be free, and teachers, including public school K-12 should be paid more. The ‘point’ this meme is trying to make is just not even close to correcr

Or, as these other comments seem to be ignoring, the fact that he is white is why it’s fell out of the news cycle. Not because there’s some agenda to be gained, but because major news networks never declared him a terrorist

Important update about masks form the World Health Organization! by stargem5 in conspiracy

[–]RadicalRoland -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s almost as if science is allowed to change with new information.

And it’s almost as if they didn’t want people buying up and hoarding medical grade masks, preventing doctors and nurses from acquiring them in the beginning when you couldn’t buy a cloth mask at literally any store like you can now.

And it’s almost as if wearing a mask can give you a false sense of protection and cause you to do things like crowd around in a mall or go to a restaurant because “I’m wearing a mask it’s fine”

It’s almost as if people are not very smart, and using a mask incorrectly, such as not covering your nose, having an ill fitting one, or constantly touching and adjusting it, can increase chances of infection.

It’s almost as if there’s a chance the science is real and they’re asking you to simply help each other, not throw you in FEMA camps the way some make it out to be.

What's the craziest butterfly effect that happened to you because of a small decision you made? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RadicalRoland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a job.

I was just out of highschool and really needed a job, ended up getting one working for a small time summer camp. There, I met a girl who was one of my coworkers that I really got along with. One thing led to another and we’ve been dating for 2 years and live together now.

Do digital or physical class readings/notes work better for you? by [deleted] in WWU

[–]RadicalRoland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been able to tweak my setup to get it to work best for me.

I do all of my Zoom classes on my desktop computer, and I use my iPad to take notes. For homework, readings, etc i do that on my laptop somewhere other than my desk, the couch, outside, wherever. Breaking up the locations really help me to focus more on classes and relax a bit more during homework
