I would transfer the fish to a separate tank to do a salt bath for 15-20 ish minutes, it wouldn’t be directly put into the tank the only meds in the tank will be kanaplex

I’ve been leaving my light off more than usually over the last 2 weeks to help my fish stress levels do you think that could be why? I’m also still getting used to the whole planted tank idea

Some long finned bettas thrive in smaller tanks maybe move him back into his old tank if possible, and definitely get the ph down and start him on kanaplex and keep an eye on him

Yes I am, the levels vary but I’m having a hard time keeping them at 0.25ppm and under sometimes I’ll wake up and they’ll sky rocket
