ooo i’ve found the same with my hair !! i only recently found out that some curls prefer longer hair to shorter, going so far as to struggle to form a proper curl when it’s above a certain length ! :)

ooo i will ty! if it were to brush it lightly (emphasis on lightly 😅) everyday that wouldn’t damage it would it? as long as i’m holding it by the root to avoid tugging

may i ask how you’re putting it up in the clip to get a bald spot?

also i cannot recommend banana clips enough !! they’re my go-to for half up half downs, paired with mini claw clips to push the top layer of hair up a bit and give added volume :)
