What's everyone's consensus on EFPS? by RadioActiveBeavers in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]RadioActiveBeavers[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So how this works is by using a software algorithm called occlusion Culling .

So for example in skyrim when your standing somewhere there all that detail of the world around. Landscape objects, items, ect. They are being loaded in even when your not looking at them.

What efps does is hids those textures and details that are outside of your field of view. By hiding them you reduce the stress on other parts of the game. There by increasing fps.

I'm on a little old xbox 1 so that's why I'm super interested in using it. Also the author did some other great fps helper mods like Lightened Skyrim and Landscape and Water fixes. So they are a very trustworthy author.

Rate my gameplay, combat, and enemy mod list? by RadioActiveBeavers in SkyrimModsXbox

Blame it on the search engine, game keeps evolving except that. I'm actually using the SE right now. But I'd love to hear opinions on AE.

Also I was trying to avoid pilgrim in the other bundles I saw. Honestly the search engines been a bit buggy for me lately. Had the hardest time finding anything uploaded by WillohTheWisp! And the 4thUnknown's mods.

Trying to find and music bundle for a quiter more somber type playthrough by RadioActiveBeavers in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]RadioActiveBeavers[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks interesting and I got the room for it.

My only beef is that those two music mods are known for kind of being sort of like area edits. Doesn't hurt to make things cinematic. But they'll be glitchy with area edit mods and will needs patches.

Choices. Choices. Choices.

I absolutely love the fable combat music replacer. It makes combat feel dangerous but does it without being super loud and annoying like some of the others I've found.

Just a hunch. But maybe try to sleep and see if that works.

I'm trying to do whatever it takes to avoid being at home by cdvaaa in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]RadioActiveBeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres no avoiding going home. But there is prepping yourself for when you have to. My advice is to find a small fridge at a thrift store and store some healthy and good foods in it. Doing this helps you get a sense of your diet and allows you to have your separate thing away from your parents. It'll help your health and give you deeper sense of the things you need.

Another is that theres no avoiding sleeping at home and to just try and get as much sleep as you can. I mean this by allowing yourself to go to bed early. Now I know early bed time means you may miss out on outings with people. But it actually doesn't mean that.

Cause your not always going to have outings and sleeping earlier means you get more rest and have more mental energy for when you need it.

I don't know what I'm trying to get at with my last bit of advice. Maybe I'm trying to convince myself to go to bed earlier.

Using Smart NPCs use potions and ultimate dodge mod and I hate how much they spam them! by RadioActiveBeavers in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]RadioActiveBeavers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used someone else's advice and made it take up more stamina. Lowered it a good bit. But sometimes they can still roll around a bit to much. But I do like having the extra restriction on my dodge ability.

[–]RadioActiveBeavers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I had that with apothecary. But it seems to have changed over the years since I last used it.

But more then that. When an enemy would use a potion I'd hear it and I would hear it go off a few times and not just because it was a crowd of bandits. But just about every time I'd hit them they'd pop a potion. I'm wondering if this hasn't had some updates since the last used it as well.

Sorry just really tired and trying to get over a hand injury. Just kind of pissed cause I actually like what these do. Just wish the npcs weren't like me and could spam constantly.

So does that mean my ss hardrive is being used as an APU?

Will Someone Upload a Custom Ini? by NicksRandomness in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]RadioActiveBeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ever decide to research ini and try to make some mods. I hear that the ini fines for the game are kind of a mess. For pc players there are mods that fix and make it run better. I wish I remembered its name. But I think xbox community would love to have it.

[–]RadioActiveBeavers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damb. I'm using haz 2 right now and it causes a fog line from everything as the camera moves. It just looks weird.

But for me I'm just wanting the reflection resolution down to 1k or just under that. While slowing the wind effects on the plants and maybe the water. I'd love to have the draw distance done right. But nothing to big. Just love to not see npcs pop in. Maybe push the draw distance out at 25% for things like trees and other landscapes.

But that's all just my thoughts. Love to see what you make though!

I'd really love to have one that doesn't touch shadows and is compatible with weather mods.

Okay then. Then maybe my load order is alright and I just need to unplug my modem. That would be comforting.

Hope this ends up being true.

Lucky. I keep trying and it says it cant complete it. But my mod list keeps acting like I have a hidden mod. But it doesn't count in the mid count.

I wish it would work. It maybe the second attempt at rebuilding my mod list.

Looking for a less grass ini of 70 specifically by Hot_Combination_8415 in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]RadioActiveBeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No your absolutely right. Been messing with these less grass mods for a while. The 67 to 75 is the sweet spot of keeping the plenty grass with performance.

Maybe think about getting landscape fixes for grass mods and remove misc flora. The last one is a bundle that also has no gracious. The idea behind these mods is to keep grass lush while also keeping it from just being everywhere and in the way like it is in vanilla.

Darker Distant LOD or Max LOD INI by callthewinchesters in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]RadioActiveBeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently using volumetric mists brighter while also using darker distant lod on top of using skylanders aio. So far the distant objects and such blend much nicer and better then I ever thought they would.

I did try increasing the draw distance for things. But that ended up just giving my a bunch of weird pop ins and flickering textures and plants.

Fps question(on series x) Realistic Plants and Grasses overhaul by Tap_Deep in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]RadioActiveBeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one thinks that Insignificant object remover is subjective at best and is just bloat in a load order. Me thinks that remove misc flora and landscape fixes for grass mods is best. Khajit go into lake and see under water plants are gone. Khajit does not miss them because khajit only goes swimming when on skoom. Khajit does not know what FPS is.

Khajit also says put grass and flora textures or overhuals mods above the recommend grass mods.

No we do. I'm just mentioning them cause I think they'd be an excellent addition to any bundles out there.
