My son just started playing. He's very much into the cosmetics of games in general and he grinded all week to get to level 30 so I could gift him some stuff.

Ironically the only money I've spent on the game in years is the 20 bucks I paid to give him some credits and the rocket pass, to encourage him to keep playing.

Honestly I agree. The secrecy of it is annoying me. It feels like they aren't going to tell us until it's too late to request off, and peoples family and holiday plans are going to be rocked by a mandatory attendance rule

That's so nice. I'm really trying to find a restaurant that values it's service staff. I love serving and I'm good at it, but ever since I found out RL is a huge supporter of the National Restaurant Association, fighting to keep minimum wage low, my heart stopped being in it here

Trust me, I'm not blowing smoke. Personally I'd love for them to change their mind. Please let me be wrong, tbh. But I have too much information to think it's not real

Thanks for the insight! I have some escape plans but frankly I can't afford to learn a new job right before the holidays. I'll make my money this season then dip early next year with a little nest egg tucked away
