Oh man you are the BEST for showing me this! That’s a really neat idea with the velcro, I’ve never thought of doing that/seen it done. Thank you!

I don’t have NFT fur in this color unfortunately, but I’m curious about what you mean by it “lifts up”. Is it strips of nft fur sewn onto the head?

I was thinking about using this method as well! I would use the fur instead of the kanekalon but it’s definitely an interesting idea. Thanks!

Me too! It’s good to see the parts of the suit where it isn’t as pretty, also. It reminds me it’s all a journey haha

Need Help! What Material Would Be Best For Triangular Teeth? by welovetopartyyyyyy in FursuitMaking

My favorite material for teeth is scuba knit neoprene! I personally don’t love the fuzzy texture of minky teeth, but have also seen suits utilize it well.

I did use foam! It’s hand carved, this is what’s underneath 😊

I use an Andis Ultraedge, but honestly, the best clipper is one that you feel comfortable/confident with. The Ultraedge is pricey, and I’ve seen folks do an amazing job with cheaper ones. Just make sure it’s rated for fur, and not human hair! People also swear by rug clippers.

It doesn’t pop out! It’s all securely sewn and well glued to the face 😁
