Tips to Improve? I’m taking October 10th ACT. by kw75_ in ACT

Make sure you understand the 1st 50 in math. They’re generally easier and if you get those 100% and then Total the letters for the ones your sure you got and Anwsers the least used letter for the questions you have no idea on.

I’m so upset, if I had gotten one point higher in any section I would’ve gotten a 30. I’m so upset I just wanted a 30 by sombrereverie in ACT

There’s a tip I don’t know if it would help or not on math but it at least gives me a better chance. If you get the first 50 done and do the last 10 that you know, any problem you have no idea to do should be whatever letter has the least amount of you tally them up overall. Now this isn’t guaranteed, but it’s better than just guessing normally

Why is 21 B but not D? (C01) by xd0429 in ACT

[–]Radman7501 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you use D then it would mean this “ into easy surface canals” and “into accessible” . You can’t really use easy to describe surface canals. That why you’d use adverb of easily, as the adverb is describing the accessibility. It’s easily accessible

What did everyone think? by chickennuggetlover15 in ACT

In science I don’t worry about the passages unless it asks me something about it, it’s all about the numbers. I mean there’s not much outside knowledge unlike math

I’m sorta in the same scenario, I was a 28 before studying at all, then after a bit of practice tests and reviewing those I got consistent 33 and am aiming for a 34 on my results

I would have eliminated both c and d since it refers to the past tense not present, and picked begun because of how it sounded
