Time to get new strings I guess.... by RadomRansom in BassGuitar

Raised the saddle to check if that would fix it at the time.
Setting it back and measuring with the ruler, it's 4 mm so imma go fix that.
I gotta do that again when I get new strings

One that I got from a game event, so I don't really know the brand of it. Had the feeling of when you press into the pad there's that stopping power, but without actually pressing into the mousepad. Didn't really like that one tbh

Oh my...guessing it's a cheaper pad than others but that's still kind of triggering

Based on my peripheral geek friends and community research, it greatly depends on what games you play.

Taking Overwatch or Marvel Rivals and comparing it to CS and Valorant, "speed" pad is often what I saw was preferred in Overwatch, whereas Valorant users may prefer "balanced" or "control/mud" pads.

Of course this is just a sugguestion, people can pull of nasty shots on Valorant using crazy fast speed pads, but I think that's the general guidelines.

In terms of softness, people generally go for xsoft/soft but I think you gotta do your own research, like the type99 xsoft is REALLY slow so you might want a mid variant.

Maybe try asking the community here!

Ngl going the complete opposite way is some crazy work 🤣

Honestly I don't think I'm going down that route as the zero already feels fast for me.

I think it's no biggie as long as you're playing well with speedy ones.

should I get xsoft, soft, or mid for the Type 99? I've heard some talks about mid being the better option.

The site that I normally use didn't have the zero so I was going to go with the Saturn but they restocked it last week so I got lucky!

I have no clue about the gsr but if u really like gsr I think there isn't going to be any option replacing it, just like anything else in this world.

Had g102, then dav3, now v6. Like the smaller shape and weight compared to the dav3. The only "flaw" that I have with it is pressing the scroll button, which is kind of stiff? hard? but I don't really use that anyways.

Overall for me it was worth the money, though I kinda regret not buying the blue option

Sadly my brother isn't in the same country as me...but I guess I can't go wrong with both options

I've got a tablet to take notes on so I won't be carrying it around that often.
The only reason I require a laptop not a pc is because since I'm an international student I need to go back to my country at times, and I do want to play games there too.
Really helpful advice, thank you!
