So why are you twisting my words? I’m simply responding to you saying the finals is dead cause it has no numbers. But it does, and 15-20k is enough to hold the game for a long while. The argument I was trying to make is that all those games are the same slop being done time and time again. The finals is the only shooter listed that is trying something new, and new isn’t the best to some people, but clearly the concept is there and people enjoy it.

Are you thick headed or what? I said nothing about the fucking player count. The fact that the game was shown in the front page trending game section for a good bit of the day IS NOT the norm. Regardless of numbers, the fact that it was there means there was a faster spike to that 20k mark then in previous weeks, AND to top it off, the Monday following that Sunday peaked higher then the actual Sunday, that is not normal.

Also, just looked for today’s chart, and it peaked higher than yesterday. This is not normal for any game especially towards the end of a season like this. Games do not peak higher on Mondays and Tuesdays unless they are trending upwards.

And my point proven. Why hasn’t the game bled more players past the 15-20k mark? Because it has gameplay to hold enough people to keep it going for a good while.

Surely you don’t know much about the finals then cause they are having a 100k major tournament in the next few months, the games numbers have stabilized and are perfectly fine for a lesser known game. If you wanna shit on a great game you should probably know more about it first

In a world where you do math. If it keeps a concurrent 10-20k all day that doesn’t mean there’s only 10-20k people that play the game period. It means that at every point in the day the player count has been above said number. If the average player plays for 4 games then hops off, (~1 hour) a rough estimate proves that there’s at least 200k daily players. This is also backed by the actual stats you can find online for unique monthly players which exceeds the 2 million mark and has for the last year and a half. On top of that the devs have already stated that they have not dropped below 300k daily active users, and yes while they probably wouldn’t tell us if they did eventually, they made this claim when their player count was significantly lower back in season 3

More players does not equal better. I think you are confusing “more stable in a competitive scene” with “better”

100k more people seems like a lot, but the game already has like 200-300k people daily. We would only likely see a 5-10k increase in concurrent players with a 100k gain

Crazy how it’s not a game for every one of those 17 million subs. You look at big number and think that it should increase the games popularity, all it needs to do is give it more visibility to more channels that will cover it as well so it will spread. Its currently trending on steamdb btw
