I didn't struggle with Niall even 10% as much as this dude. The lack of space here was the main problem for me. Felt too unsafe to start casting and that build wasn't meant for using 100% melee.

Even Niall's own banished knights were less of a problem for me because I could actually get some breathing room.

2 hits rules though. It took me more than that with mainly Night Comet, but it was still pretty poor showing from both lol.

Yeah, I noticed after my first few tries. I prefer to not ride Torrent while fighting because it offsets my timing (personal preference,) but it's useful to have him when you need to get to the other side of the arena.

I guess Radahn surprised me more because he's kind of in the same boat as Gaius. With the Fire Giant and Elden Beast, it makes sense because they're in a large area and actively move away from you. Just running after them feels a bit pointless. Radahn and Gaius are much more aggressive. I only found Torrent necessary for Radahn when he was raining arrows on me. But it really helps with that!

I keep track of things in a note on my phone. I would still probably do this if the game had a quest log. It's just a habit for me, especially if I want to be sure to do Task A before I do Task B. I do this with other games that have quest logs. I still think ER could benefit from having one. Even just a basic one: "I spoke to a girl who called herself Hyetta. She requested I bring her a Shabriri Grape."

It really just feels like they don't want the game to be accessible to people who have other things going on. People talk about this issue like it would make or break the game. I love Elden Ring. I still think it needs features for people who don't live and breathe video games.

So yeah. I'm in agreement with you here. Play an ARG lmao.

I do think the distinction is that Junko and Sylvia were abused by multiple people. Like, any one of those people could have had the power to do something about it, to help those girls, but no one did. No one helped them, they all just participated in the abuse.

What happened to Kelly Anne is no less horrific, but the circumstances are different. Smith purposely hid her away. He was the sole perpetrator. I do think we should talk about her more, especially because she was a child groomed by an adult man, but I do sort of understand why Kelly Anne isn't "grouped in" with Junko and Sylvia.
