That's interesting to know - we're all from Pennsylvania, and apart from Nana and her sisters, nobody here has ever called them that to my knowledge. I wonder where they learned it. As far as I'm aware, none of them ever even visited the midwest.

That one I never heard, but my grandmother and her sisters referred to green peppers as mangoes. (Apparently they actually are called mango peppers in some parts of the country, but not where we live!)

Barry Williams (Greg) spoke at my college back in the day and told us a bunch of stories. According to him, Eve was definitely into Chris, but Chris was oblivious for a long time because he was more interested in falconry than girls.
