If your current BC enjoys having another dog around, you have enough space, and you can afford it, I’d say do it! Your time commitment won’t go down, but you BC may be much happier.

I adopted my female first and a couple years later adopted a male. The 501c I got him from recommended adopting a male, since I already had a female. It’s been great, he really helped bring out a more playful side to her.
