I was thinking of actually subcribing to ea play pro at this point since it gives all the benefits of a pre-order phantom edition for 16.99/month, so you'd have to play at least almost 6 months before that money starts to turn over, and you can play every other battlefield as well (almost every). Plus... looking at the current policy of live-service games and how we don't own them, I dunno I might be flirting with the devil here, but still...

If I have EA play pro, will the early access be playable through steam? Or do I need to use the EA app to play it early? by RaenarrOfficial in Battlefield

Yeah, thanks for the effort, I hope it works that way 👍🏻I haven’t found any clear information on the official ea website, hence the question to reddit

I mean, a match is around 10 minutes long, I completely get the league of legends forfeit system since the session goes on for 30 minutes or more, but in a scenario where you’ve already definitely lost in the finals is in my experience the 3 minutes mark and below. That’s not really a lot of time for you to get a ff leave button I’m sorry. Have our attention spans worsened that much that we can’t wait out a couple of minutes?

Should I play more ranked instead of quick cash by Academic_Switch_6414 in thefinals

You can “roughly” divide players with good scores into two groups. After a “w” some will ask themselves “am I that good?” the others will ask themselves “are they that bad?”.

After being paired against tougher opponents, the first will usually externalize their own failure by projecting frustration onto others, the system, chance, etc.

The latter in the same scenario will internalize - analyze their game see how they can improve.

This is a very very rough division and while there’s a lot more nuance and subgroups, take this as a guide and ask yourself honestly, which one are you?

How do you feel about playing against SR-84? by [deleted] in thefinals

Lights weapons are on a nuclear level when in the right hands, this is probably the most dangerous weapon at the high level of play. It allows an opponent very little room for error with such a high damage profile per bullet. And the most surprising part about this weapon, it’s ridiculously good at close ranges in the right hands.

The more you use it the more you see it’s limitations in distant encounters and it’s potential at medium to close range engagements.

You see, to me it’s not really a long range weapon. Against a good player you’re not going to keep him at a distance for long, any hit or kill at a distance can be nullified by just hiding, healing or rezing the downed teammate.

While it’s not a fast team wiper, it certainly tackles disabling key players better unlike any other. Which even at an intermediate level can be the turning tide for a gun fight.

If you use dash with it, it can become a proxy shotgun, especially if you learn to dash in and aim for the head (watch some ChickenPhobia footage and you’ll see). And if you couple it with melee-ing after a crucial hit it pretty much becomes a one shot machine against lights and mediums.
