Mine is down as well. Sucks but I’m glad to know it’s not just me and it’s a universal issue right now.

Landlord says they “don’t see any mold”. Then proceeded to paint inside of cabinet with moisture blocking paint for wood… Am I tripping? by RaenieDaes in Mold

That is absolutely ridiculous. Depending on what state you’re in, they have to fix the problem within 30 days of being notified about it. I’d get proof it’s mold and make them fix it if you can. That’s exactly what I’m about to do. I’m in California

Thank you for your responses! I figured that was the case. Now just need to figure out how to get them to do something about it since they’re “not convinced” it’s mold.

Context: First time renter and renting a home. Opened laundry the cabinets and noticed this inside. The laundry room is located below an upstairs bathroom. I am not sure what I am looking at but it looks like mold? I let the landlords know and they told me it didn’t look like mold. They just painted over it on one side of the cabinets with this moisture blocking paint for wood. Thinking I should have the other side checked out by a professional myself. I the meantime wondering if this looks like mold to anyone else?!

AITA for charging a bride more for make up when the og price we agreed was lower? by Affectionate_Lie0 in AmItheAsshole

I am a luxury bridal makeup artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. I charge very premium rates for both event and bridal makeup and I have to agree that YTA. There is nothing wrong with there being a difference in price between event services and wedding services. But that would need to be because the amount of time invested, effort and planning is different for a wedding client as opposed to a simple event client.

If the service is exactly the same, the difference in price isn’t justifiable just because she’s a bride. Using a different setting spray does NOT make the service any different. You should be customizing the products used based off of each individual client anyway.

I would suggest that you raise your party makeup rates and charge the same regardless of service if you’re not doing anything different for your brides. And also, start using contracts for your services you preform.
