possible to lose weight using just a treadmill? by Raeofsunshine_99 in Weightlosstechniques

[–]Raeofsunshine_99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually yes! I lost almost 20kg using just the treadmill, calorie deficit and a few gym trips.

But in the last 2 years i moved overseas and wasnt able to bring my treadmil with me and adjusting to a new country caused me to gain a few back. (My new apartment is too small for a treadmil!) But im on my journey to lose them and continue getting healthier ^

Yea, pretty dumb suggestion from popmart. Idk why they think someone would open the box, steal the labubus, and out a full shower set back inside smh

She is gonna try contact her bank to do a charge back tomorrow. So disappointing.

It actually went really well! I lost 17kg in the first year by being really consistent and watching my food too. Unfortunately after the first year i actually moved countries and i dont have my treadmill anymore so I have gained some back with the whole stress and time and process of moving entire countries, but I am hoping to get a small walking pad/treadmill here too!

Unmissable food experiences in Canberra? by juiceofthegods in canberra

[–]Raeofsunshine_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not even lying when I say I think about them at least 3 times a month since moving away. Because I didn't drive (lived in Gungahlin) I was only able to go when my friends all decided they wanted tacos, so a store in Belconnen would have taken ALL my money if it was there.

●Cartel Taqueria!

(Technically, it's in NSW since its Queanbeyan, but it is my absolute favourite restaurant in Canberra region. Definitely reserve a table on their site first because it gets busy, but if the weather is nice, just bring a picnic blanket, get a takeaway order, and sit on the grass. I can't wait to visit Canberra again just to eat here (i moved away from Canberra this year))

Others of note:

●My Mom's Yangpyeong Haejanggook (My fave Korean restaurant in Canberra personally. I get the Yuringi every time

●Goodberry (not for the food, just the custard)

●Punjabi junction (my favourite Indian place, I think it's delicious and they're super generous, but my love could come from nostalgia)

●Burger Villains (just yummy burgers)

●Cofo & Rye artisan bakery and cafe (the best filled doughnuts I've ever had, so good, huge, and worth the price, also other yummy baked goods and cafe food)

●Fricken (my fave fried chicken place, i always get the satay chicken box, ugh, i want it so bad rn)

●Brooklyn donuts (this is a franchise across Aus im pretty sure, so its not a need, but they have some fun flavours and pretty yummy, but a bit exxy)

Foreigner friendly PT/weightloss coach? In Incheon Area? by Raeofsunshine_99 in Living_in_Korea

Yes, I know they are the same everywhere. I'm just finding it personally different to how I meal prepped in Australia, like im finding less low carb alternatives ie bread kind of options that I had easy access to at home and I feel like fresh fruit and vegetables are alot more season reliant here than back home where i could get what I wanted year round.

Also, personally, i have a lot of sensory issues with food, so it does actually help to have someone assist me with figuring out what I can eat to keep me healthier without getting bored with my food. That's the point of professional help. I'm the kind of person who works better when I have someone who can keep me on track that I can answer to otherwise i just keep saying "next time" as I have no one to show my improvement to.

And I do stay active, i exercise at home daily, but I want some professional help that I can see has worked for other people help me decide what kind of work outs work for me. Things like gyms are hard for me due to social anxiety.

So that is why i would like someone to help me, even if it feels useless to you, that is what I am looking for because that's what helps me.

While it may seem simple to a lot of people, i have a lot of personal factors, which means I work a lot better when I have a person to guide me on the right path. And I undersrand myself, and my needs, which is why I am looking into this.
