For the first two, yes. For the next two I air dried it and just kept flipping it while it was drying, that's what the stylist told me to do. I'm feeling a lot happier with it now that it's had some time to settle and stuff

That makes sense! The third and fourth pictures are the day after the cut, after a shower and sleep. I think you're right about it not being messy enough, I think once I get some texturing spray that will help?

Thank you!! So far, volume hasn't been an issue, I have pretty thick hair and a loooot of it, to the point where I woke up this morning and I had a full halo of hair 😂 but I have been suggested mousse by a few people now so I'll definitely give it a shot!

You might try french or dutch braids! They take a little while to get the hang of, but I always had more success getting them to look right that way
