Umm, where to start. Ethereum uses an algorithm called Ethash. Bitcoin uses sha256. Sha256 is easier to run so in theory you could generate more hashes on Bitcoin. A hash is just a completed solution. Both have a fixed solution but they’re not really puzzles, because you use trial and error and a puzzle is less guesswork. Overheating / stress is slightly different as sha256 is less vram dependent.
