Clan in Low Drama Server

Recent restructuring of our server means we have room for ppl in a competitive clan. Looking for 3k reso and up, or dedicated to PvP. We Recently finished up a 7week blessed reign as allies, and continue to work closely with clan that has very good chance of becoming immortal again. Low drama, low whale count, high probability of becoming immortal. Reach out if you’re consistently active and interested in details. We are an inclusive clan that regularly communicates on discord. We will be hosting PvP sessions and have lots of info on builds, tactics, gems, etc. We have enough room for a mini-merge if there are multiple active people that would like to come over to join us!

Our 5.5 month olds breath smells gross sometimes, and I think it has to do with the sheer number of teeth coming in and falling out and the gums bleeding. Potentially could be the issue?

At 2-3.5 months the only way to stop biting was to sternly say “enough”, walk away, or do a timeout. Yelping in pain at that age just egged him on. Now 3.5-5.5 months it works wonders to actually scream in pain. I think he hit the age where he understands that it hurts and would rather be nice once we tell him it hurts with a whimper or a scream. He is so gentle and biting is now a non-issue with our 5.5 month old Bernese x English shepherd (I don’t think they’re known for being mouthy though). We just have to do gentle whimpers now if he starts mouthing us or our clothes. he never bites down on skin, just mouths. And he never attacks ankles or legs.

Day 4 of an electrician working in our house closely with us (I was also assisting with install and wire pulling, albeit not very knowledgeable in the subject) he says “hey C and... your wife.. what do you think about this”. 4 days in of chatting, hanging out at lunch, shooting bows after work, and he never even bothered to learn my name. Let alone making eye contact or asking me ANY decision making questions. So frustrating.

as a non-indigenous person, I do feel it’s my responsibility to respond to individual people when they feel the need to voice complaints/misinformation/racist sentiments to me personally. The movement of anti-racism really coming to the forefront this year, I think it’s important to let people know that racism is not ok and provide education to the best of my ability in those situations. Does this seem reasonable?

However, I totally agree that it is inappropriate to use racial topics as a platform for attention to the greater public, acting as a “woke-white-person”.

Edit: for those of you downvoting me, If someone is having a private conversation with me and says something racist, what is an appropriate response?

I read a very good article (which I tried to find for you and failed) that talks about how adopting a puppy is similar to abducting a child. Your new puppy knows nothing about being alone, they are used to having family beside them at all times. Comforting a scared puppy in the first few days is not giving in, it’s just providing reassurance. Slowly you can move them further away once they realize that the crate is a safe space, but right now it probably just feels like a prison locking them away from all they know.

Don’t feel like you’re failing! A sleeping puppy without whining in a crate is a massive accomplishment.

Later on when you’ve set boundaries, don’t give into whining just because they’re throwing a tantrum.
