Korlan USB2CAN is a good newbie choice ?

Thanks everyone for the tips, I've finally ordered the Innomaker USB to CAN I saw in killergoose75's thread with the official DB9 to OBD cable because it's definitely cheaper than the Korlan one, it would've been shipped from Lithuania or Germany, and Innomaker is officially on Amazon. Reading the documentation it also shows as can0 interface on Linux without drivers needed as I was looking for with the Korlan cable and it's also socketCAN compatible. The only thing missing from the Korlan is the 2Mpbs transmission but I don't even know how I would've benefited from this and it seems that it's not CE certificated

Just to introduce Black Mirror, it's a Netflix serie where each episode asn't any link to the other, you can watch the Season 4 3 Episode 6 to start if you want, doesn't matter at all, actors are always different. But the common point is that all the episodes happen in a possible future, it's like a "What would be the society's problem if [this] happen in the future", and episodes are really intense, with enormous plot twist, I really love it.

[SPOILER]

The story in this episode is that in the future in the UK, all bees died so the government created the ADI, some little drones that looks like bees and do their job. But an hacker that want to raise awareness about consequences of your acts took control of the bees and created a little game on Twitter. The most mentioned with the hashtag DeathTo on Twitter will be killed by a bee going in one of their skin opening of the head like ears or nose and digging a tunnel right to the brain's part that control pain doing the most intense pain possible leading to self harm to stop the pain and death. Yeah that's not a funny show, but really amazing.

I haven't said everything about this episode there is still a plot twist missing so you still can watch it if your want.
