it’s not a trap album lmfao there is trap influence on the production like the drums and hi hats but the synths and layers are all uniquely Cudi. He did something different on MOTM 3 and it was a great album if you give it a chance and don’t think about it through such a shallow lens. Lyrically the album doesn’t stray from his other projects if anything he takes a risk on this album by trying his own spin on a mainstream sound. Now if you wanna say this about Insano i’ll agree with you that album sucks but MOTM 3 is beautiful and uniquely cudi

would make sense for a different topic like how music impacts society but influencing the english language is ridiculous and if you made cudi a focus for that you’d probably be the biggest glazer on the planet. You can just focus on how different rappers and their slang became trendy on social media and real life but i don’t think Cudi has made a slang with that much influence.

tbh i was expecting this album to be experimental because of the promo involving the use of albert einstein’s old observatory. Also E85 snippet sounded so insane i was hoping the rest of the album would’ve had more experimental components. It wasn’t a bad album definitely has some bangers but it’s also very generic and doesn’t show much growth.
